BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Update:
I-84 from Ontario to Baker City, and for a short time as far as La Grande, were closed Friday following several accidents, two semi-trailers that flipped, and one tractor-trailer that jackknifed. Oregon Department of Transportation reports that I-84 has reopened headed eastbound, however several sections may still be slow-going as weather continues to impact travel.
Original Report:
Ontario Police report that I-84 eastbound is at a complete standstill just east of Pendleton at Exit 216.
All lanes are blocked at milepost 223 at the top of Cabbage Hill. I-84 eastbound remains closed between Exit 304 in Baker City and 374 in Ontario.
Multiple crashes have been reported, including two semi trucks that have rolled over between mileposts 232 and 325. Eastbound lanes have been closed since early Friday morning.
